Sam joined Makemedia in 2013 to project manage the development of the large-scale 3D construction simulation & training content for BLSC in Melbourne, Australia. After a successful delivery, he was hired full time as 3D Producer. He is now Operations Lead for Makemedia’s immersive digital products business, Make Real seeing all products through discovery to deployment.
With over 15 years experience, coming from a strong training and games industry background, Sam merges gamified interaction design and learning theory, having previously worked with large-scale public and private sector clients at Epic Group PLC and delivered multi-million pound budget AAA games with companies such as NCsoft and Zynga, whilst knowing how to make something sticky and fun through his work with Kerb, creating viral marketing games with that “just one more go” factor.
Sam will be able to immerse you in a world of Virtual Reality and simply explain how you can feel more presence in your training solutions, as you look to increase your learner’s engagement and empathy for the subject matter.
